Our story
Loxy Surf — the surf school many visitors know as Lembongan Surf School — is a locally owned school on Nusa Lembongan, Bali. It was started by local surfers who grew up riding the three reef breaks in the channel off Jungutbatu — Playgrounds, Shipwrecks and Lacerations — and wanted to share those waves the way they learnt them: patiently, safely and with a local's knowledge of every tide and current.
We keep things small on purpose. Group lessons are capped at three students per instructor, kids sessions run with one in-water coach for every two children, and every lesson starts with a proper safety briefing on the beach. That focus is why most of our students stand up and ride a wave in their very first session.
Between lessons you will find us in the water anyway — checking the banks and surfing the same reefs we teach on. If you want honest local advice about surfing Nusa Lembongan, message us on WhatsApp and ask.
